Due to the level of care and attention we devote to every collection, evaluations are conducted by appointment. Customers are also welcome to leave jewelry with us for evaluation. There is never any obligation to accept an offer, and we are always happy to explain how we arrived at our valuation.

Our current evaluation timeline is approximately five weeks, depending on demand and the number of collections being assessed at any given time. Once the evaluation is complete, a member of our team will contact you to review our offer and answer any questions you may have.

 

What Happens to My Jewelry?

The path forward depends on the piece. Some items may receive a precious metal or scrap value offer. Others may be sold through auction channels. Select pieces that meet our estate jewelry criteria may be restored, professionally serviced, and offered within Henne Jewelers' Estate & Vintage Collection. For certain pieces, consignment opportunities may also be available.

Jewelry that meets specific criteria may be restored, repaired if necessary, and added to Henne Jewelers' estate and vintage jewelry collection. In some cases, consignment may also be available as an alternative to a direct purchase.

Am I required to accept your offer?

Not at all. There is never any obligation to accept an offer from Henne Jewelers. If you decide not to move forward, your items will simply be returned to you.

Our estate department is always happy to explain how we arrived at a valuation and answer any questions you may have. We want you to feel comfortable and informed throughout the process.

Should I clean my jewelry before bringing it in?

No special preparation is necessary. Simply bring your jewelry as-is. Our team will inspect, test, and evaluate the pieces during the assessment process.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended for jewelry evaluations and consultations. Scheduling ahead helps ensure our estate team has dedicated time to properly review your collection.
