Recently, a woman found great fortune in an Arkansas state park – in the form of an 8.52 carat diamond! Bobbi Oskarson saw the Crater of Diamonds State Park on a map and decided to stop by. At first she thought her gem was quartz due to its size and shape, but park officials determined it was in fact a diamond. It is the fifth-largest find in the park’s public history, with more than 75,000 total discovered since 1906.
