Embrace Pantone’s Colors of the Season at Henne Jewelers

Each season, the designers hit the runways with the hot colors that will dominate our wardrobe for the next several months. Pantone takes it a step further, to concentrate simply on the hues and how they can be incorporated into everyday life.

This season is full of pastels and earthy tones to take us away from reality. “Color choices follow the same minimalistic, 'en plein air' theme, taking a cue from nature rather than being reinvented or mechanically manipulated,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. “Soft, cool hues blend with subtle warm tones to create a soothing escape from the everyday hustle and bustle.”

The leading color this spring is Aquamarine. It evokes stress reducing feelings, like a babbling brook. This bracelet keeps those sentiments close by. The gold accents pair beautifully with the aquamarine fluted beads.

While these colors will be replaced by the Summer collection in just a matter of time, one hue will reign supreme through 2015: Marsala. Pantone’s color of the year, Marsala is the essential earthy tone. It is reminiscent of the wine it takes its name from and evokes power from head to toe.
