Matt and Lily were so excited about their engagement, but to add a little extra fun a tourist on a Just Ducky Tour had snapped a photo of the proposal as it was happening and shared it on social media, a story that was picked up by the Post-Gazette.
How They Met:
Matt and Lily met a little over three years ago when they were set up through a mutual friend. It was Lily's first and only true blind date, and it was great!
Looking back, Matt told Lily that he knew she'd be his wife someday after only a month of dating. Shortly after that, they went on vacation to the beach with her entire family, and two months after that they began living together.
The proposal:
Matt proposed to Lily at the Point (in front of the fountain) over the July 4 holiday. To add a little extra fun, a tourist on a Just Ducky Tour had snapped a photo of the proposal as it was happening and shared it on social media. Matt also had enlisted help from his brother to capture the moment. The story was picked up by the Post-Gazette!
Looking forward:
Matt and Lily are planning a destination wedding in the Caribbean for the summer of 2019. They can't wait to continue their love story and this next step in the journey.
