Haley and Kyle met at work in San Diego, CA. Even though they were on different teams, Kyle shares that he found every excuse to interact with her until he finally worked up the nerve to ask her out. As cheesy as it sounds, he knew as soon as he met her that she was the one. Spending every minute together during the pandemic only made that more clear.
The couple bought and renovated their first home together in 2021 and he couldn’t think of a better way to close out such an incredibly impactful year than with a ring! Kyle decided to propose while on Haley’s family ski trip over the holidays — she was so surprised and they were both overjoyed to be able to celebrate with her family afterwards.
Why Henne?
"I am a San Diego native, but Haley is from Pittsburgh and her family has trusted Henne Jewelers for decades, so I knew that was the perfect place to go when I started the process of designing the ring. Working with John was an absolute breeze and he made everything clear and simple from the very beginning. Even though I was across the country, John went above and beyond to guide me every step of the way via Zoom, email, phone calls and texts.
