How they Met
It was destiny for Dave and Haley to end up together, but fate took its time. They grew up about 10 minutes apart from each other in Ohio and had mutual friends in high school, but didn't meet until their junior year at Duquesne University when his roommate was dating her roommate.
The Proposal
Dave knew she was the one and wanted to propose to her, so he enlisted Haley's younger sister's help. She helped pick the perfect location for him to propose in Orlando, overlooking Lake Eola at sunset. She also met with Captured by Elle Photography to pick a perfect place to capture the proposal on camera, and his now brother-in-law helped finalize the details with the photographer. Dave and Haley set up a dinner date at a nice restaurant to get them both dressed up a bit.
The picture says it all. Dave popped the question to Haley, whose reaction was priceless. Haley's family secretly flew down to meet them after the proposal and celebrate, making the entire proposal and following pictures a true family affair.
Where They Are Now
Dave and Haley fell in love with Pittsburgh while they were attending Duquesne and decided to make it home. The couple wanted a small, intimate wedding at a destination or a beach, so Dave and Haley got married at the Isle of Dunes outside of Charleston, South Carolina.
