How They Met:
Anthony and Grace met at summer camp when they were 15 years old. She had sprained her knee and he offered to carry her around for a couple days until she could walk again. They stayed in touch after camp and eventually started dating.
THE Big Moment:
They rented a house on the beach in the Outer Banks for vacation. One morning they went outside to use the metal detector like normal and while she was using it Anthony set up a camera and snuck around behind her to bury a decoy ring in a bottle. When she found the heart shaped bottle with the metal detector it had the decoy ring and a little letter in it that had been burned around the edges and stained to look old. At the end it said “will you marry me” and when she turned around Anthony was on his knee with her engagement ring from Henne.
Of course she said yes and they spent an hour running around the beach and screaming about their engagement. Anthony is now wearing the decoy ring as his engagement ring until they get married!
FUTURE PLANS
Grace is going to finish college while Anthony continues to work at a company he enjoys and in a couple years they plan to get married and honeymoon in either Bora Bora or Italy.
