HENNE JEWELERS TRAVELS TO CENTURION JEWELRY SHOW

HENNE JEWELERS TRAVELS TO CENTURION JEWELRY SHOW

Henne Jewelers recently made the trip from Pittsburgh to Centurion, an invitation-only trade show for the high-end jewelry industry, to discuss trends, meet with designers, and collaborate with leaders to ensure Henne customers receive the highest quality and best customer service. This year's show was held in Phoenix, and it did not disappoint.

Fourth-generation owner John Henne shared that there was great energy at the show from both designers and retailers. Most of the industry experienced record years and are anticipating great things in 2024.

"We were really excited to be at Centurion this year following our store expansion. Word has clearly gotten around the industry, because every vendor was talking about the new store and complimenting us on how amazing it looks," said John Henne. "It has been a long and arduous process, but it is worth it to bring such an elevated jewelry buying experience -- yet still warm and inviting -- to our customers both now and in the future."

Nina and Dara meeting and buying jewelry

nina delights in 2024 jewelry & gemstone trends

Longtime Henne associate, exclusive designer, and jewelry buyer Nina Pugliese echoed John's sentiments about the great atmosphere and vibe.

So, what jewelry trends are we seeing this year from our designers?
"Strong vibrant color and geometric designs," says Nina.

"The Toi et Moi style in diamond necklaces, earrings and of course rings has been on trend, but now a lot of the designers are playing with color as well," she adds.

Nina ventured to Tucson while out West to find colored stones for our very own in-store designers. With "Peach Fuzz' being the Pantone Color of the Year, I saw a lot of spiced zircon and morganite with peachy undertones, along with many other fancy cut color stones.

"If you love color, you'll be a happy jewelry shopper this year," Nina concludes.

FANTASTIC JEWELRY COLLECTIONS & FUTURE DARA'S PICKS

John's wife, Dara Henne, has been part of the Henne Jewelers legacy for decades. As she becomes more involved in an official capacity at the store, she traveled to Centurion and said it was a great experience.

Dara shares that she loved talking with vendors, looking for trends and new unique pieces. "We actually visited some vendors we have known for years and are considering bringing them back because their designs are so on-trend today," shares Dara. She encourages customers to stop into the store throughout the year to check out new collections.

What else caught Dara's eye and might be in an upcoming edition of Dara's Picks?

"Yellow gold jewelry, bezel-set diamonds in all applications and beautiful color stones."

Available now to Henne customers is this incredible platinum bypass cuff necklace featuring cushion-cut diamonds totaling 20.92ctw.

Jami and Nina meeting with vendors at Centurion Jami and Nina meeting with vendors at Centurion

keeping engagement & wedding customers top of mind

Jami Wallick, one of Henne's top bridal jewelry experts and now Henne's Bridal Department Manager, ventured to Centurion keeping current and future Henne Couples top of mind. In her role she will be working hard to ensure that we bring in the best quality diamonds at the highest value, while balancing the wide range of styles and setting options to meet customer demand.

Jami shared that she especially enjoyed being at Centurion, because she was able to put faces to the names of our bridal vendors. "It was great to finally meet so many of our partners after years of speaking with them on the phone and by email," says Jami.

"I also loved seeing all the new designs from the brands. There was some noteworthy excitement around some new collections from Doves and fashion pieces from Noam Carver. Getting to see so many beautiful pieces in one place was impressive. It was a great experience to witness the process of how we decide what to buy and bring to the store for our customers."
