June was an exciting month for Henne Jewelers and for jewelry professionals across the globe. Henne’s own buyer/jewelry designer Nina Pugliese and buyer’s assistant Juliet Slaby jetted to Las Vegas to attend JCK, North America’s premier annual jewelry event.
Nina and Juliet were especially excited to meet with reps from our current designers, such as Monica Rich Kosann, and to shop hundreds of new collections and finished jewelry for Henne customers.
Fourth-generation owner John Henne is vetting new business opportunities from the show that could enhance Henne’s customer experience – especially with e-commerce – such as apps for jewelry virtual try-on and virtual appointments, among others.
“With our store expansion planned for 2023 and the chance to shop incredible pieces for our clients, it was an exciting experience,” Nina shares.

There were lots of noteworthy trends that are sure to be popular here in Pittsburgh, including colored gemstone jewelry, enamel, hoops and drop earrings, charms, and nature motif rings. Gold and chain links, layering, and stacking rings (enamel, colored sapphire, and other gemstone bands) continue to make a statement.
