Congrats to JT and Erica on their engagement! JT and Erica's relationship started like so many others & was bound by the six degrees of separation, Pittsburgh style. They went to different high schools & colleges but had many mutual friends. JT and Erica reconnected after college, starting with messaging while she was on vacation with her family...and the rest is history.
Future Plans
JT and Erica will be getting married on Dec 17, 2022, and will take a honeymoon later in the spring to Ireland & Scotland. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their two pups, Ginger and Bernie.

The Big Moment
For years, Erica's mom had said she wanted to start a family tradition where she would pass her engagement ring (or other diamond) to her daughter when they were ready to get engaged. About a year before getting engaged, her parents reminded them that the ring was there if they wanted it.
Erica loved the thought of beginning this tradition and took a trip to Henne with the ring, but her parents didn’t realize that after 30+ years of her mom wearing the ring that it had been damaged. So, Henne sent it out to have it recut so that they could have it set in a new ring.
Erica knew JT had the ring for a LONG time, so she waited and wondered when the big moment would happen. Would it be her birthday? NO! Would it be Valentine's Day? NO! Would it be their dating anniversary? NO!
And so the seasons change, and when she never expected it, it happened on Christmas morning 2021. They had breakfast with their families, and once they left JT gave her a box. When she opened it, there it was!
Why Henne?
