Congrats to Marty & Emma on their marriage!
Marty and Emma originally met when Emma worked as a Registered Nurse and Marty as a Physician Assistant in the Trauma Burn ICU at UPMC Mercy. They were given the opportunity to go to the American Burn Association conference in Vegas -- What happens in Vegas does NOT stay in Vegas!
About the Big Moments...The Proposal & The Wedding
In Spring of 2021, Marty and Emma decided to build a patio together -- completely by hand. After a painstaking month of brutal manual labor, Marty planned an intimate proposal ON THE PATIO the day they finished the project. Their best friends and neighbors decorated the patio with rose petals, candles, and champagne.In September of 2022 they were married at Nemacolin Resort. Keeping with the intimate theme, Marty and Emma kept their celebrations small - with only their immediate family. Nemacolin went above and beyond to make their event truly special, and the entire group had a wonderful trip to the resort.
Looking Toward the Future
In the years to come, Marty and Emma hope to start a family, find their forever home, and continue building their life together.
