Congrats to Brad and Rachel on their engagement! Brad and Rachel originall met at a young adults group called Anchor in Sewickely, Pa in the winter of 2020.
The Big Moment
The duo took a trip to Palm Coast, Florida for a training seminar with the missions organization they were both joining. They were going to stay with some friends of their for a couple days, and as they were giving them a tour of the house, they set up the area on their porch where Brad was going to ask Rachel to marry him. It was the final spot of the tour of their house and Rachel was exhausted. She didn’t have much left in her that night, but when they stepped foot on the porch, there were rose pedals leading to the candle lit tables and a sign that read “will you marry me?”. When she realized what was happening she was in a bit of shock and Brad had to softly nudge her forward into position so he could ask her. As he knelt and looked into her eyes, he asked her to marry him. She said yes!!
Future Plans
Brad and Rachel are committing their lives to the mission field to share the gospel of Jesus to the lost and unreached people of Africa. They will be moving to Zambia, Africa within the next year to start their lives as missionaries.
