How they met
Brett and Dalton grew up in the same neighborhood, and went to high school together, they were good friends, but never dated then. They went to college at different schools, but re connected in their hometown of Atlanta around Christmas of 2017. They started catching up and hit it off! They have been together for a year and half now!
About the Proposal
They were in Atlanta on Sunday, June 23rd with plans to fly to Boston Monday morning. Dalton casually asked if Brett wanted to go to JCT Kitchen, the restaurant where they went on their first date. After dinner, they were enjoying the nice evening on a bridge outside the restaurant that goes over train tracks and overlooks the city. After talking for a few minutes, that is where Dalton proposed. Brett was extremely surprised, and happy! She said yes!
Looking toward the Future
They both live in Nashville now. Dalton will be buying a house in August, and they will move in together shortly after. Their wedding will be late Spring of 2020, or in the fall of 2020.
