Their story:
Dave and Zia have been together since they were 16 in junior year of high school. They attended college together, and now live in Lawrenceville. Dave and Zia moved to California the summer of 2015, before Zia’s ring came in, so Dave had it shipped out to California so he could propose there. (Dave's father bought his mother's engagement ring from Henne, so it was special to him to use the same store for her ring.)
The proposal:
Dave and Zia were hiking along Highway 1. He was being very protective over his hiking backpack, holding it in front of his body like an infant harness. The couple stopped to take a break on a beautiful cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and that’s where he ask her to be his forever.
The big day:
Dave and Zia’s wedding ceremony and reception were held in a barn on his parents’ property, which holds a lot of memories from their childhood. The wedding style was organic, soft, and romantic, with natural shades of white, taupe, oatmeal, and sage. Zia’s wedding dress was covered in 3-D embroidered flowers!
