Congrats to Ari & Maggie on their engagement!
Ari and Maggie met at Ithaca College at a party in the spring of 2014. They were both in the theatre department and kept running into each other on campus and at parties, so by the end of the semester they finally decided to go on a proper date for a hike and picnic at the beautiful gorge, Buttermilk Falls!
And speaking of Buttermilk Falls...
On a snowy day after Christmas, Ari and Maggie drove back to Ithaca for a day trip and took a stop at their old date spot. It was there that Ari decided to pop the question, since it is a special place for them and a beautiful, quiet spot in front of the frozen waterfall. It was sweet and intimate (and very cold)!
Looking Toward the Future
Ari and Maggie are enjoying being engaged and living together in Brooklyn, NY. They are currently looking at 2025 to get married so they have time to save money and plan!
Why Henne?
Ari and Maggie came into Henne with a family diamond from Ari’s mom — since she lives in Squirrel Hill, they searched for local jewelers that could use the diamond as the centerpiece, and Henne was the perfect spot for them! They did the design process together and really enjoyed working with William, Jami, and the whole team at Henne! Maggie always knew she wanted a ring that was feminine and botanical, and the Henne team guided her toward the perfect match.
