Congrats to Matt and Sarah on their engagement!
Sarah and Matt met at the University of Pittsburgh. Matt was on the hockey team while Sarah was in a sorority and mutual friends introduced them their sophomore year, and they have been together ever since!
The Big Moment...
Matt surprised Sarah with a full day at the place where it all began...Pitt's campus. The day was complete with all of their favorite spots: lunch where they had their first date, a mini "tour" of campus, and even a trip down memory lane to the places they used to live/hang-out. Matt ultimately popped the question in front of the Cathedral and Sarah immediately said YES! The day wasn't quite complete yet as Matt had one more surprise up his sleeve; all of their friends and family were waiting at their house when they got home to congratulate/celebrate them with a surprise engagement party.
Looking Toward the Future...
Matt and Sarah are looking forward to their big day on October 27, 2023 where they will be married at Heinz Chapel surrounded by friends and family with a reception to follow at the Fairmont (& of course, a cookie table)!

Why Henne?
Living in Shadyside for years + always walking down Walnut Street window shopping, Matt and Sarah couldn't wait to make Henne a big part of their engagement. Jam was incredibly knowledgeable in helping Matt pick the perfect ring for Sarah.
